It’s Day 6 of the 75 Hard Challenge.  And I feel totally alive.  I woke up this morning full of energy and completed all my ritual activities for the 75 Hard Challenge in record time.  Drank my water, took my photo, read my book, did some stretching and meditation and bolted out of the house for my morning walk at 6:30 am.  I think even my app was surprised. 

 

Music

Based on my experience yesterday, I created a 2 hour playlist that included upbeat songs of the same type of beat as “Girls Run the World”.  This had an amazing effect.  My walk sped up to 10 min/km on average and I completed 9,300 steps in just over 1 hour – much better performance than yesterday. 

So the 75 Hard challenge is working. I am getting better and stronger – faster than I thought was possible.

  

Meals

On my way back from my walk, my phone started buzzing frantically.  I then realized that one of my marketing campaigns had struck gold.  The balance of my day was spent in coaching calls and following up with the massive amount of calls that came in.

The result – I missed my normal dinner time.  Not wanting to eat too late (and to tell the truth, I wasn’t that hungry) I just skipped dinner all together.

I hope this won’t affect me tomorrow.  Oh well.  I’ll just have to deal with whatever comes.

Lunch – Curried Cauliflower soup

Mid afternoon – Raw cauliflower

Dinner –  Nada

 (Now looking at my meals, I think I may have really messed up here.  Oh well – I’ll consider it like a fasting day… laughing)
